Heartworm season is here and we need
to check your dog for heartworms. Heartworm has been on the increase
again and once your dog has been infected it is very serious.
Summer is a very active time for
our pets just as it is for us. If you received a reminder, make
an appointment with Dr. Voigt to keep your pet or pets healthy.
We at Crow River Vet will keep your pet healthy and happy, but
will not involve you with any unnecessary vaccinations or procedures
that are not needed in the local area. Pets have different requirements
for vaccinations depending on what they do and where they travel
to. We will assure you these requirements are met. Click
here for more info on heartworm disease and other important topics.
Fleas and ticks love your pet in spring and summer. Ask us about effective products for control of these pests.
Fall & Winter
As the temperature starts to fall and we move into the winter months, it’s important to pay special attention to your pet’s needs. It is best to keep pets indoors during the cold winter months, but if this is not possible, it is vital that you provide them with the adequate shelter and nutrition necessary to survive in the colder conditions. Click here for more info on how to keep your pet safe during the fall and winter season.
Thank you for spending some time
with us.
